Deyaar celebrated ‘Hag Al Laila’ with a visit to the children’s ward at Latifa Hospital in Dubai.
During the visit, Deyaar employees distributed special gifts among the children to make them feel special and experience the joy of the occasion.
Hag Al Laila, which means ‘For this Night’, is an annual traditional event that is celebrated to mark the arrival of the month of Ramadan. On the 15th day of the month of Sha’aban, children dress in traditional clothes and visit homes in their neighbourhood to collect sweets and treats.
Mona Al Tamimi, Assistant Vice President - Marketing and Corporate Communications at Deyaar, said: “Hag Al Laila holds special significance for us in the UAE. The day gives us an opporutunity to promote the traditional customs of Ramadan and preserve the Emirati culture of giving and sharing. Our visit to the Latifa Hospital helps us spread the true spirit of happiness especially among children that are away from their family and friends.”
